Stockist Trade Terms 

Many thanks for your interest in becoming a The Wimmera Grain Store  Stockist .

​

With 12 % of the Australian population now eating all or almost all vegetarian, the demand for plant based foods and healthy eating is exploding.

​

And so we would welcome the opportunity to work with you and your customers by sharing some for the fabulous plant based products we have grown and/or developed, which you wont find in the major supermarkets.

​

We pride ourselves in developing long term, trusted relationships with our customers.  In addition to supplying quality products in a timely manner, we believe disputes can be avoided (saving time and frustration) by being clear and upfront about our terms of trade.  

​

So we have put together the following Terms of Trade for you to review.

​

MINIMUM ORDERS:  To qualify for a trade order you need to be a registered Australian Business with a current ABN/ACN and placing a minimum order of $250 AUD or above.

DISPATCH:

Our retail products are hand packed and dispatched weekly by Axis Worx in Horsham.

​

Axis Worx is a social enterprise group who creates employment for people with disability in the region.

​

We dispatch our products on a weekly basis from Horsham via local state based couriers.  Local businesses also have the option of picking up from Axis Worx if pre arranged.

​

DELIVERY TIMES:  Delivery times vary depending on your location, Victoria normally takes  up to 10  business days.  Should you require your delivery sooner than this please let us know. 
 

SHIPPING COSTS:  Shipping costs are generally calculated on each individual order and added to your invoice.

​

PAYMENT TERMS:  Payment terms are prepaid before dispatch unless a trading account has been established.  To establish a trading account and apply for credit terms please complete in full the WGS Trade Credit Application and return it to wimmeragrainstore@gmail.com​

​

OWNERSHIP AND PASSING OF TITLE: Risk in any goods supplied by the The Wimmera Grain Store (seller) to the Stockist (buyer) shall pass to the buyer when the goods leave the possession of the seller however title shall not pass until payment in full has been received by The Wimmera Grain Store.  On breach of any payment terms, the buyer on its own behalf and on behalf of its agents and 3rd parties authorises the seller to enter any premises and retake possession of the goods without notice to the buyer, its agents and 3rd parties.

INSURANCE:  This is at the buyers care, post shipment/dispatch.

​

RETURNS:  We genuinely hope you enjoy the products you have purchased through The Wimmera Grain Store, however if you have any concerns in relation to the good supplied please contact us on wimmeragrainstore@gmail.com.

DAMAGED GOODS:   We take pride in carefully packaging the products to be sent to you.  However if there is ever any damage (eg accident in transit), please let us know within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

 

FORCE MAJEURE: Neither the Buyer nor the Seller shall be responsible for the delay in delivery of goods or any part thereof occasioned by action by any act of God, pandemic, fire, flood, wind, explosion, power failure, war, embargo, act of government, strike (including dock and/or shipping strike), lock-out, combination of workers, or civil commotion which is not due to said party ’s own acts or negligence.

CLEANING STANDARDS:  Supply of our Bulk, Food Service and Natural Retail Products are based on the Pulse Australia export standards for machine dressed pulses. These are detailed on www.pulseaus.com.au under Receival & Trading Standards, Australian Pulse Trading Standards 2020/21.  Any dispute arising in relation to our Bulk, Food Service and Natural Retail Products will be settled by Arbitration in accordance with GTA Dispute Resolution Rules in force at the time invoicing.

DISPUTES & ARBITRATION: If any dispute arises out of or relates to this supply or contract settled by Arbitration in accordance with GTA Dispute Resolution Rules  in accordance with the law for the time being enforced in Australia and in Victoria on the date of invoicing.

​
